Being a stay at home mom, I do my very best to get to the gym. It's MY time to decompress from the day, and I do indeed take it when I can. But let's face it, how many of us consistently make it every day? I would be willing to bet not many! Life just has a way of... getting in the way!
I recently stumbled upon multi-talented fitness trainer, Craig Ramsay. A former hockey player, among many other skills, Ramsay's most awesome accomplishment to date has got to be his vast library of webisodes called "5 Minute Workout Anywhere" which he hosts on ULive.com.
Ramsay's web series is not your average quickie workout video. Ramsay is quite the comedian, and it's impossible not to be charmed by his wit. You will want to watch every single video, back to back, he is that funny!
Using multi-muscle exercises, Ramsay shows that all it takes is five minutes at a time, to get an efficient workout in. If you think about it, there are many instances throughout the day where we are waiting around and technically COULD be working out! Ramsay's videos are set in a different location each time to show that he's not going to listen to that old excuse of not having time for the gym, so don't even try it! In fact, Ramsay proves that "the whole WORLD is your gym!"
While trying to pick out a few videos to link to (unfortunately, ULive doesn't allow embedding! *sad face*), I honestly could not pick just one or two. I was laughing with each and every one! It's just as well that I offer a handful for you to check out, because Ramsay notes that you don't want to do just one over and over... you should mix up the videos and do a different one each time!
